His voice is one of those rare sounds that can't be denied, duplicated, or disputed. It's just plain amazing. There are those who can sing and then those whose vocal chords are a gift from God Himself. Blessed!!
@ssppeellll8 жыл бұрын
"There are those who can sing and then those ..." who sing extraordinarily well. No need to assume there is a deity behind it. There is no special line of which every singer is on one side or the other: regular singers on one side, those gifted by god on the other. There is an analog range of singing skill and talent out there. Give any two examples and an example between those two can be found. You are trying too hard (i.e., to the point of deceiving yourself) to find evidence for a belief for which there is no evidence. You twist things around in your mind to try to justify your belief--but there is no justification. Just confirmation bias.
@mcgriffin35108 жыл бұрын
ssppeellll you must be fun at parties
@ssppeellll8 жыл бұрын
No, I'm really not. Partly because I get irritated when over and over again I hear normal, non-supernatural things attributed to some imaginary deity. If it were once in a blue moon I wouldn't mind so much. But every time I turn around someone is crediting the Divine for no good reason whatsoever. I understand why they do it though--constant, repetitive reinforcement of any belief will make the thing believed in seem more real--regardless of whether it is real or not. And when it's not real, the only way to keep the belief alive is this constant, repetitive reinforcement. Reality is so beautiful and wonderful, and it's a tragedy that people keep indulging in their delusions instead of just accepting things as they really are. It's also dangerous. Which is, to be honest, probably why I do let it bother me so much.
@philipmarq8 жыл бұрын
