When Classic Urban Harmony LLC got a phone message from Aseracare about a man in hospice care whose dying wish was to hear a doo wop acappella group sing one last time, Pam and I knew we wanted to help. Yes, we normally expect the groups we book to be paid, but this was an exception. Kelly Shaw explained that she had made numerous calls elsewhere but no one would return her calls. We returned her call immediately and assured her that we could find a group to volunteer to sing for this man. We called our friends, Quiet Storm, and of course they agreed. So, on Wednesday evening, January 10, we met Quiet Storm at the Golden Livingcenter-Rosemont in Bryn Mawr, PA, where they sang several songs acappella for patient, Charlie Frederico. Unknown to us prior to the visit, Charlie Frederico had himself once been an acappella singer with the local doo wop group, the Accords. Channel 6 & 17 News was there to record the event. The whole thing was very emotional. Thanks, Quiet Storm. We’re very proud of you. Here's Quiet Storm singing "Just My Imagination".
