Bro...i have a dout...if acb rating In- 4000, and Ir- setting is .4 means 1600.and Ii- setting is 2 means 8000. Then Ii will not active because Ir setting is less than Ii setting ..and Ir will act first.. . So when Ii is necessery??. Reply me bro...

When heavy phase fault or earth fault occurs, it occurs incase of two phase touch each other or touches the earth then heavy current will flow. So it will sense it & give sudden tripping before any other protection gets operated. As other protections will follow pre set time delays.
