ACC | All you need to know about driver swaps in Assetto Corsa Competizione!

Been getting asked about how we do driver swaps in the community as we starting putting on some 2.4h events.
This video has been done to help out those who haven't done one before. Hopefully others can also find it useful.

I did my first Duo Cup today with my mate. I think we did everything right, he was shown online and green, but he could not overtake the car…i choose him as driver 10 secs before pitstop, but he could not start the car and he also could not steer. but for some reason, i still could feel FFB…

Did he go to requested? As it should show that where your driver names are.

@@Chris-CSR yes, I think he did, but I cannot tell for sure 100%. but I think i know the problem now. I think, he clicked ESC + „Drive“ just in the wrong moment before he overtook the car, which maybe kicked him out of the car.

So let me ask how come sometimes you can drive as both drivers? Like in career mode?

I would presume as that's single player. But my time on career mode is extremely limited. My main focus is online racing.

thanks for the video. Our team experienced some problem before, want to make just its not our problem. Let say driver #2 do the qualifying, can he swap to driver #3 to do the first stint? If yes, the swapping command has to be done before the qualifying ends?

Hi. Yes that's correct. As soon as the countdown timer begins the command won't work

hey, can i also request a driver change without acc drive, cause acc drive costs money and I think a bit to much, I dont wanna spend this much money on a software

i just don’t get How they join the server But into ur team/ car and not their own

Because there is an entry list. Where under a car they will allocate steam accounts to it. That's how it works. Sometimes when entering. You will enter looking at a different car. Just shift and arrow key to your car

Does ACC Drive work for ACC on PS5?

There is a driver swap option in single player yes, you can see this in custom races. However, I've not tested it personally.
