Ok noob question. I plan on running a shifter and e-brake through my ps4 which requires a drive hub. How would I connect this device (or any other button box) if the hub is in the ps4 usb slot and doesn’t recognize non-compatible accessories??? My first thought is running the hub to a usb splitter and then the button box to the same usb splitter and then plugging the usb splitter into the ps4. Someone please help! Online has VERY limited information.

@@thatboxingdad it should recognise the device. If u run out of usbs, try looking for a usb hub that has multiple ports. I did the same and it worked perfectly. Make sure to buy not the cheapest one.

So I got this to work, however, it causes significant lagging to the frame rate while racing. Is there any way to reduce this?

it has nothing to do with frame rate imo

@tkddrifter11 I actually figured out that it wasn't the macro pad, but a USB splitter that I was using. I plugged it in direct and it works fine now.

@@claudiocisternas6798 yes but if u press the acc hotkeys on the keyboards, that should work as well. The biggest advantage of the macro keypad is that u can add certain commands to 1 single button and u dont have to press multiple buttons at the same time.

Make sure to save the button bindings first on your computer then plug it into your console. Then it should be fine.
