Alot of people don't understand how to use controller properly and this man clearly demonstrates it here. Ppl are often used to just pushing the analog stick to left and right or up and down just like they would in some action games, but in racing it's different, you have to push the analog stick up and slowly arc the stick to left or right. This way you'd have more precise steering and control over corners. You can also use the triggers to control the acceleration and braking

Mate all people understand this concept. But the problem is for an average person that doesn't have a lot of racing/driving experience with a controller it is really hard to use those analog sticks precisely.

@@j0xx02 i used a virtual controller on my phone and was able to drive almost exactly like a pro. Maybe ppl should try that out. I dunno if that will work better because i have little to no experience with a physical controller because i only ever play pc games.

Insane lap times man... tried your settings and I got better by 2 seconds on Spa! Still trying to break in to 1:19 zone, very close. I think for me the key was speed of steering wheel rotation that was low... it did not represent real life turning and I was loosing time especially in chicanes. And I increased gamma to 4 as you did... then backed it up to 3.7... it's completely different game now! Also the size of the monitor vs view angle makes a lot of difference in perception of the turning, should be adjusted for everyone's situation after using these controller settings.

No. This video is outdated, so its hard to tell how is it now. You can put 1 lap like this, but how about the entire race and battles? How about consistency and mistakes? Im playing less than a year on a wheel (cheap one, T248, upgrade in progress) with a rig, and im at 2:16.0 right now. The more money you will spend the less you will suffer and the less time you will have to allocate to do faster times. True this is really good time on controller, but thats it.

@@tengiz911 no it's not fake. The FF bar just shows what forces would go through to the wheel if you had one. My game still has the bar on console regardless of whether or not a wheel or controller is connected.
