ACCA vs CIMA | Which one is right for you?

Hi Steve, for specific roles like this, especially relating to tax, ACCA is probably your best shout. CIMA is very much focused on producing management accountants, and tax is not a subject covered as thoroughly as it is in the ACCA syllabus.

Of course! Many mature students are on our CIMA and ACCA courses, and have decided they want to be accountants later in life! However, the earlier you start, the quicker you're likely to progress in your career.

Both are amazing qualifications to have, with many job opportunities, so it's very hard to say. If you want to become a management accountant, CIMA is more suited. However, if you wanted to work for the big 4 in auditing, etc, then we'd suggest ACCA. I hope this helps!

We do courses mainly for CIMA. However, we are currently offering courses on the ACCA SBL exam and looking to expand in the future.
