Florida State beat in-state rival Florida, 45-38 to finish the regular season 9-3 and on a 5-game winning streak. Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis threw for 270 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Seminoles to the win. Trey Benson rushed for 111 yards and 3 touchdowns for FSU and caught 2 passes for 51 yards. Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson threw for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns and freshman running back Trevor Etienne rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown. Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall caught 5 passes for 148 and 2 touchdowns.

Sitting in the student section, some kids snuck in if they didn’t get tickets. If you had a seat in the stands you had to stand or you couldn’t see and you were packed like sardines. There were people standing in the walkways, it was chaos, and I loved every second of it

What about the clock running out at the UF goal line drive? Instead of delay of game penalty by Richardson they call PI against FSU. It gave them a fresh set of downs and they subsequently scored. I know the SEC refs will miss calls, but they did a decent job most of the game. Unlike the woeful ACC refs who have a 60 IQ, cataracts and always make bad calls that do affect the momentum of the game. I pity any team that has to deal with ACC refs in bowl games.

Actually, the seminal tribes of the state of Florida is very much on board with the traditions at Florida State is not meant to emulate anything that the Indians actually did this tune was made by a former band Director at the school the chant and the chop is just a school tradition that is done out of team and school spirit but we know how it go.
