I’m a loyal Lexus LX buyer and yes I know the size is different but I just test drive my 1st Escalade yesterday…and let me tell you the levels of build quality and solidity are still worlds apart. My 2020 LX570 is still silent on the road where as the 2021 Escalade I drive had so many rattles and noises and the ride quality is just CHOPPY… It felt like a fancy Chevy express van

I have a hyundai 2021 palisade limited. It is just stunning. It has turned alot of heads. Everywhere i go even to the car wash and gas stations people ask me what kind of car it is. Some people would literally come up to my palisade limited and look into the car. I have had countless people congratulating me and telling me how stunning the car looks. My Hyundai Palisade Limited has some things and features that the 2021 Cadillac Escalade does not have. I thank you for taking the time to read my comment.

I really tried not to watch this because “THIS!” (“Doug Demuro”) is $30K more than the ‘21 Yukon Denali. Only difference in the new ‘21 Slade is the OLED curved display. That’s it! It’s still super DOPE though.

I just got this on Saturday! The same exterior but my interior is platinum. So I have the Sport Platinum, this on is just the Sport. I do like this one but mine has a bit more features, plus I added every feature possible. I have the Super Cruise, Night Vision, Refrigerator...and whatever other options they offered at the time I ordered. I ordered mine 10 mo ago and it finally arrived Saturday. My interior is the Gideon Beige, although I do like the black. But I did not like the black in the platinum level only because I did not like the wood chosen for the accents. Over all I am happy. I am just worried that my interior is so light, my floors are almost white like the seats...yikes with kids, not sure how that is going to end up. But hey we are going to enjoy it. Ended up costing me about $135K after taxes and all the added stuff, plus leather protection etc...

Very good honest and detailed real world review. You are a great videoographer and journalist. I had both the 22 Escalade Sport Platinum and Yukon Denali placed on order but decided to go with the Escalade. I currently have a 21 AMG GLE 53 fully loaded and a 21 Ford F150 King Ranch and I basically wanted to merge them both into 1 of the 2 SUV's. The Escalade Sport Platinum pretty much fulfills my expectations. I got the SuperCruise option along with fridge. Night vision and exhaust I didn't really I needed and ofcourse lighted deploying perimeter steps. I chose the black with the colored bagging, call me old school, I had caddy's before back in the day I just like that color to add pop. I saw one on the road the other day that was BLK on BLK in the day time and the road presence as you stated is SICK. Just a work of art cruising down the road. Again thanks for your reviewed, I am suscribed.

Living in Ontario, if you already had a proper stable of say a 991.2 GT3, a Murcielago, an SLS and a 458, would you get an Escalade Sport Platinum or a Cayenne GTS as a daily driver/winter vehicle? Is the Cayenne too sporty if you're already getting your speed fix elsewhere? The Escalade is more plush and has super cruise but the infotainement seems laggy, and obviously Porsche's interior quality is top notch...

Is it really speed limited to 140km/h? That seems really odd. Usually for personal vehicles it's around 180-185km/h. The Yukon SLE/SLT I am driving now the analog speedometer goes to 200km/h.

Just wait til the 2023 Supercharged V8 Escalade V comes it with almost 700hp. Then it definitely won't compete with the Navigator for sure. & it sounds sooooo goood. I'm pretty sure u can toggle the driving modes with that roller button on the right side of the steering wheel. BTW, where did u get those LED garage lights?

We can hate all we want but I’m not going to act like this is not the best Luxury SUV ever. The fact is, nothing compares to level of practicality, technology, space, luxury and safety like this New Escalade offers. It basically has everything Rolls-Royce, Range Rover Mercedes GLS Maybach have and more. It is the only SUV that can really come close to driving itself.

You are incorrect. Do you even know what premium fuel is vs regular? It’s resistance to compression before detonating. It allows higher compressions from turbo/super chargers. It definitely does not increase fuel economy

Good review. As for this versus say the Denali, I think the white exterior choice of the 2021 Yukon Denali Ultimate and the 2021 Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum are both excellent, not sure which appearance I like better for I like both a lot. And the black interior choice in both looks great, though I'm not a fan of the white contrast piping in the black interior leather Escalade, I wish they'd get rid of that and just have that piping be the same color black. I think that white contrast piping just looks cartoonish or cheap, while if it was just all black it would look so much more refined and luxrious, so much more high end. There is, however, a refinement to the interior and added luxuries in the Escalade that you do not get in the Denali, things like higher end leather, massaging seats and other things. That said, from all that I have been able to learn, it appears they remove some of the "off roady" capabilities found in the AT4 and Denali, and apparently de-tune what remains, all for more luxury in the Escalade, but I wish they left all that functionality in, for I live in mountainy ski country, and it's not just luxury highway driving, but less well maintained secondary roads and even the occasional dirt access road I find myself on quite a bit. I also wish I could get the all season version of the 275/60/20 tires of the AT4 on both the Denali Ultimate and Escalade, for a little extra cushioning on worse roads, but you cannot. That's too bad, for some of us though we love the luxury and power of the Escalade, still want some degree of suv'ishness. But still, a tempting selection, very! If the reviewer, or any posters, can confirm what internals from the drive train and other such functionality of the AT4 and Denali are in fact left out of the Escalade or altered, I would welcome the input? For instance the AT4 and Denali advertise an "Active Response 4WD System" that can send power to each of the 4 wheels as needed, but I can find zero reference to that in the Cadillac. What else is missing or altered that takes away more off-roadiness, and perhaps abilities in bad snowstormy weather and road conditions? This is still supposed to be an suv after all.

Hi. I do not understand why GM has made the ambient lighting so simple with so few choices of colors. Why it does not let you use the automatic color changing while you drive??? Also why the ambient lighting is so feint. You can not even see it at all during the daylight. But you can see it in the Mercedes easily during the day. Soooo, you were right! I test drove one today here in the DC Metro. The sound system sucks. I was sorely disappointed. I expected so much more with a 36-speaker sound system but was let down worse than somebody’s nasty divorce. Just lots of annoying treble blaring into my eardrums (I can actually still hear it now as I’m typing this lol). Otherwise, the rest of this SUV is DOPE!!! 🔥🔥

Um, that's not a chrome finish to the exterior metal on the Escalade. It's not as shiny as chrome. Cadillac is using what it calls a Galvano bright finish. It actually looks like some kind of aluminum finish.

The L86 has always required premium fule, and in trucks, has had cylinder deactivation. My 15 Serria Denali has this engine.

ACCELER8 I like the vlogs you do especially in London Ontario my home town right on!! As of picking between the Escalade or the Yukon Denali I would have to take the Denali just because the look of it looks more menacing and in your face of a real SUV. Don't get me wrong here with the Cadillac it looks sweet but there is just something with the Denali that says get out of the way the big dog is coming through. But if you want my opinion I would really go all out and get the Range Rover Sport SVR the sickest and most powerful of the three. Owning an SVR or any Range Rover is a big status statement if you have one of those. Keep up the good work buddy!!!
