Accelerating Cleantech at UCLA Anderson’s Energy Innovation Conference

UCLA Anderson’s 9th annual Energy Innovation Conference welcomed more than 200 attendees comprising students, faculty, alumni and industry professionals. The conference affirmed UCLA Anderson’s commitment to fostering collaboration among talented individuals and innovative companies dedicated to combatting climate change and powering a more sustainable future.
Under the theme of Accelerating Cleantech Innovation, 28 esteemed speakers and moderators shared insights on topics from mobility and hydrogen to ESG, microgrids and AI - and how they contribute to revolutionary change in business practices. Government plays a pivotal role in cleantech advancement, with initiatives like the Inflation Reduction Act. Panelists also emphasized capitalism as a powerful force in solving the climate crisis, and explained how they believe the economy and the environment can survive as well as thrive together.
The 2024 Energy Innovation Conference was presented by the UCLA Anderson Energy and Cleantech Association, UCLA Anderson Center for Impact, Prologis, SoCalGas and Edison International.
