This is the same BMW 4.4L V8 engine found in the X5 & X7 M50i. Both of those cars go under 5 sec to 100 and have a 12.x 1/4 mile. I would call this car's performance mediocre at best (considering it's 530hp we're talking about). I think an ambitious 3L entry level diesel X5 comes really close to this.

The local spec sheet says it can do mid 4's with Dynamic Launch engaged... which we never found.
