sir acceleration due to gravity is uniform acceleration .?
@sadiyabaig68924 жыл бұрын
yes, there are three formulas of acceleration due to gravity * v=gt *s=1/2g(t)2 *(V)2=2gs
@amarpratapsingh22904 жыл бұрын
Acceleration due to gravity is = 9.8n For counting = 10n Formula = Gm/d^2 G = gravitation, m = mass of the object, d = distance or radius of object.
@amarpratapsingh22904 жыл бұрын
@@sadiyabaig6892 bro g ka formula = Gm/r^2
@carultch2 жыл бұрын
If the scale of your problem is negligible compared to the size of the Earth (or other world where the problem takes place), then you can reasonably approximate gravity as being uniform acceleration. Drop a ball from 2 meters on a 6 million meter radius planet, and you don't need to even think about how gravity would vary over the 2 meter travel length.

Sir if the acceleration due to is constant for every mass but if an object at rest in the surface then we pulled to object so why we apply different pull force for different mass , but acceleration is same ...9.8m/s
@carultch2 жыл бұрын
Because participation in gravity and inertia are a package deal. Double the mass of a body on this planet, and you double both the force of gravity and the inertia. This causes mass to cancel out of the equation, and the acceleration in response to the gravitational force to be independent of mass.

Question- why objects are not attracted towards each other in International space station (ISS) which is already in zero gravity state?
@carultch2 жыл бұрын
Good question. The answer is that they are attracted to each other, but it would take hours for you to see noticeable results. To show how miniscule this gravity is, consider two 100 kg people, initially at rest, separated by 1 meter. If you let them drift together under their mutual gravity, it will take 3 hours for them to collide. You would have plenty of time to react before this happens, and steady yourself with a handlebar. Gravity between human scale objects is very small. Between two people, it's literally less than the weight of a hair.

Sir if the force of attraction between the earth and our is same... Then does earth pulls us with its gravitational force of attraction or the with the force of attraction as described in Newton's law...but if earth pulls us with the force of attraction then we also pull the earth with the same force... So why do we fall is the force is same... And if earth pulls us with gravitational force (g) then it is smaller than our weight(mg) then also we fall why
@carultch2 жыл бұрын
Gravity is a two way street. Suppose you weigh 700 Newtons as an example number. Earth pulls on you with 700 Newtons of force, and you reflect this force back onto Earth, also pulling upward on Earth with 700 Newtons of force. The forces are mirror images of each other, such that you are the target of the force pulling you down, and the agent of the force pulling the Earth up. Why then does a human body fall downward, and the Earth barely moves at all? It's quite easy to calculate. 700 Newtons on a 71 kg mass means you accelerate downward at 9.8 m/s^2 if released from rest, since 700 N / 71 kg is approximately this number. 700 Newtons on a 5.98 septillion kilogram mass, means that the acceleration of the Earth is 1.2*10^(-22) m/s^2. 1.2*10^(-22) meters is smaller than a single proton, so we don't notice the Earth reacting to your weight.

@carultch2 жыл бұрын
It isn't. But with Calculus, you can prove that a body with spherical symmetry will have the same gravity from its surface outward, as if all of its mass is concentrated at its center. This means you generally don't need to think about the details of mass distribution to determine the gravity of planets.
