I love that Southern Delaware sub accent. It sounds so cute.

Accents in Delaware can vary, some people have a little more exaggerated, I have a normal accent but sometimes I sound a little different depending on what I'm doing. You sound normal like most people. If you know what Sussex tech is, then some people there have a heavier accent and those are the one wearing boots and their caps and go hunting.

Yup ; ) Good old "mum mum and pup pup" ; ) So funny how people else where have different, often indicative references for their Grandparents that are really specific to where they're from. I've heard "mee maw and paw paw" from those who are from the southern states, and noticed a bit of a "Granpuh" dialect from those who originate from the Pacific Northwestern part of the US. Some words I still find amusing though are those from my Step Dad (who also lives in DE) who pronounces "rune" for ruin. I still tend to say Lan-cast-er vs. Lank-iss-ter to those around me in PA who are actually native to this area! People can usually hear the dialect and tell that I'm not "from these parts" so to speak ; )
