Its hard to accept those who have different ways of living...without forcing them to be one of us. May be time will dissolve the misconception

Accepting someone going vegetarian is quite different from accepting someones abusive nature.

But what if the person we love consist of bad habits and doings? Aren't we bother to change them?
@LakshyaSharma4 жыл бұрын
Yes, we need to bring them to right path and lifestyle. That can be done by sharing the wisdom and inspiring them with our own example. By accepting what they are means we aren't critical or judgemental towards them. We hate the disease but love the diseased. We can only inspire change in others when we have the right intention of genuinely helping and caring for them. Finding faults and criticizing will only break the relationships. At the same time, we can't let their bad habits and misconceptions influence our lives negatively.

@@LakshyaSharma Yes i agree. We can't ever change someone, we have to inspire that change in them. Change will only last if it comes from that person themselves. To add to this, the CAR principle might also be helpful in most cases. Which is Change what is changeable. Accept what is unchangeable. Remove yourself from the unacceptable

@@mabick5157 Very rightly said! We can only make someone aware and inspire by our own example. But he only have to take the final call from within. CAR principle is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.

someone or others may be saying this same way about you... why because they will be tolerating you and yet not let you know this...
