People saying AN should have kept the same team need to understand the team from Saturday wouldn’t have been physical enough in that first half, I think AN made the right decision personally … Even when we brought on the creative players, we did nothing and we couldn’t cope with their physicality and match their desire .. If we started the same team from Saturday, I think we would have been 2/3 down by half time

We were fucking shite tonight! Didn’t deserve anything from the game and I personally don’t see a lucky own goal as anything to celebrate from a team that will surely go on as they always do to make the numbers up in the Championship next season! Yeah not impressed lads! Brought well and truly back down to earth by a very average team, who have been on a terrible run of form! And to everyone who are saying the play offs are in the bag Morecambe will be no push overs at the weekend and if we do manage to get into the playoffs we will not get passed the the fixture if we play as shite as we did tonight! Tactics, team selection and ethos all wrong tonight! Tried playing to Rotherham’s strengths and giving them too much respect than just doing our own thing and taking the game to them!

@@WizzerMedia It’s an out of form Rotherham we’re playing not Real Madrid. AN said himself the link between midfield and attack didn’t work. Ross Stewart was far too isolated and broadhead didn’t get in the game. Embleton has been in excellent form and Pritchard is arguably the best player in the league. One of those should be playing in every home game when fit.

@@swc8544 Because its Sunderland, just have doubts. We wont turn up or Morecambe will pull off a surprise. That happens all we can hope for is that MK Dons beat Plymouth to help us out if we cant decide our own destiny

I am slightly concerned when it comes to the play offs! When it boils down to luck and crucial moments Sunderland haven't done well over the last few years. having said that, I'm not one who has been disappointed with the team this season. I think we've done really well to get where we at now. we have finally got a foundation to build from and that excites me whether we get promoted or not.
