when you use generative AI features in Colab, Google collects your prompts related code, generated output, related feature usage information, and of course your feedback

Anything changed since this video? Any plans to make complete beginner videos on how to take your own data, and train a model on it (using local and/or cloud GPUs like AWS,GCP/GoogleColab)? I see so many (open-source?) models on HggingFace (LLAMA, Qwen-2.5-Coder-32b, etc), but have no idea how billions of parameters I need, or what they represent?! And assuming you download one of these terabyte-sized models that have been pre-trained, you still have to train it some more with your own local data? How? Alternatively, you upload your data and train it the cloud? At what do you need to know/learn things like PyTorch or TinyGrad? I assume the models themselves are binary blobs, and so you must work via some kind of API? How does ChatGPT's MyGPTs and Claude's "Personal Projects" fit into this?

How to use GPU for only 1 cell where I am doing model.fit() training in Kaggle and then use normal CPU and turn of GPU for the rest of the cell so thay I can save GPU?

I don't study ML or so, but I use Colab when I want to try out a model without the hassle(+time) of downloading + setting everything up and torturing my GTX 1070 for sometimes quite a while :D

I'm really new in AI, I'm yet in the stage of research, I've been reading about NVIDIA and IA, and I found a lot of resources in NVIDIA NGC, but I found that I have to create my own cluster or run a couple of containers locally but they require Nvidia GPU's, now my questions, Does NVIDIA offer something like computer power, computer clusters? i mean, like a cloud service, APIs where to connect your apps sent text or something and get back like audio, video, etc? kind of PaaS services? or they offer any Compute power to train models? Or the only way is using NVIDIA GPU's power is through a cloud provider like AWS, GC, Azure, etc? Is there something like an NVIDIA cloud where to create an account and start using Nvidia services for AI?

Hi sir, I am seeking a solution for a problem. Is there any way that I can run a Google colab notebook by running a python file in my local PC ? is there some sort of API for that.

I have done masking on 50 aerial remote sensing images(.tif files) and my Dataset is extremely large when I preprocess the images. Around 1,00000 training images with tiles 512x512. It needs around 24 GB GPU to run CNN. Where can I run to do the semantic segmentation task?
@JesperDramsch3 жыл бұрын
That's an impressive dataset! At the size you'll only get away with Tesla cards that you have to pay for. Any cloud provider with GPUs will work there.
