I refuse to believe that anyone feels good at that size. I’m around 60lbs overweight and my knees ache, I don’t sleep well, I feel sweaty and gross, my feet hurt, it’s hard to do the things I love. Your body is worthy of respect and care. Time to start now with eating right and slowly building up your body for exercise. I dont think using a mobility scooter is bad as long as you are taking the steps to build your body up so one day you dont need that tool anymore. We shouldnt shame people for using the tools they need at that moment but we shouldnt encourage complacency to keep a person in this situation. some pro tips for u 1. Drink enough Water! Dehydration is way too common in the US and it has A LOT of negative side effects. One of them is that it keeps you from loosing weight. 2. Don't drink your calories! Most people become overweight on sodas, Dressings and oils. So please drink sodas and juices only for special occasions and use dressings and oil only in moderation. 3. Eat rich in protein! Protein keeps your muscles from shrinking, keep you full and are necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Most people eat way to little protein a day, so eat about 1g of protein for every pound you have. Also get enough healthy fats and less carbs. Carbs are also healthy and needed, but most people eat way too much carbs. 4. Eat diversly / colorful: Eat diverse food in order to get all the necessary nutrients. Eat enough veggies and fruits. 5. Eat until you are full! You should not be hungry after a meal. You should be fully saturated, but if you are full don't eat more. Keep the rest for later. 6. Beat your addiction: A lot of Americans are addicted to sugar and/or fat and therefore they will crave unhealthy foods even tho their body doesn't need it. Luckily you can beat this by simply cutting out all candy and fast food for 3-4 weeks! After that your intuitiv eating will work again and every treat will taste 1000 times better. 7. Move! Find a sport that you like, walk or ride bike enough and just move in general. It's healthy and fun! These tips should be enough for a healthy Lifestyle and you should loose weight. If you don't, counting calories is a 100% way to success for everyone. It goes as follows: - count all the calories of the week. ALL of them! -> devide them by 7 to get the daily average If you lost weight: -> great keep this as your calory limit If you didn't loose enough weight: -> remove 200 kcal from your daily limit every week until you loose weight. Still respect all the above Tipps. If you are in a calory deficite but only eat trash food or too little protein, you will be hungry and miss nutrients.
