5.52 Is "skip to main content" mandatory on a website and which WCAG guideline is this?
@WebAccessibility2 жыл бұрын
Success Criterion 2.4.1: Bypass Blocks It's a difficult question because if your website has landmarks and/or headings that AT users can skip, then, purely for WCAG conformance, "skip to main content" isn't mandatory. However, it makes the website more accessible for everyone, not just AT users, so I always include it, unless I have a 1 page website with no nav.

Hey me Madhusudan visually impaired person from nepal. I found your video very useful. Wanna know is their any trainning for the blind person in accessibility testing course? I need it very urgently. Here in nepal we don't have trend of making a site accessible for persons with disability. I am interested to get full course on accessibility so that I can make some small changes within my community, Please help me out.

Hi Madhusudan, I haven't tested my courses with blind users, but I did my best to describe what is happening on the screen while recording. You can enroll in the course and I'd be very interested in your feedback as to what I can do to improve the course to be more accessible to blind people. Very commendable that you wish to make a positive change into your community.

@@blindlyexploring Hello - thank you for your message. All of my KZbin videos will always be free! Unfortunately, the Udemy courses aren't available free of charge, but they are very affordable. Here are the links to both :) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines: bit.ly/3kH6qlK Creating Accessible Websites: bit.ly/35OFkTx
