Accessible Astronomy

In an effort to make the Harvard Science Center’s Astronomy Lab accessible to all students - including those with visual impairments - Allyson Bieryla and colleagues have developed a device, which can be mounted to a telescope, that translates the light from distant astronomical objects into sound.
