It seems that the press is always angling to paint MJ as a villain. I appreciate how Riley always brings it back to the love. Why would she think about the allegations? Lisa Marie clearly felt she knew MJ well enough so she felt comfortable marrying him and having her children around them. The question was weird the way it was asked.

Yeah, the same old photo's recycled over and over again from that one day in 1995 that they did the little stroll around the Neverland ranch with all those people there. Did Lisa Marie's recently released memoir show any photo's of her and Michael actually LIVING together, like the photo's you get of Priscilla sitting by the pool at Graceland, riding the golf carts at Graceland etc.? Nope, there wasn't a single photo like that her book, that's because the whole story is fake, they weren't even legally married in the first place and definitely not living together.

Thank YOU Riley, YOU are honouring your mums life in how you are choosing to share it with us. I remember your mum being interviewed by Oprah… it was awful. Oprah belittled your mum for loving and marrying Michael Jackson; Lisa-Marie in that very moment made me feel as though she was squirming being interviewed by that hideous Oprah. Thank you for being honest. I would rather know she loved him and vice versa than it all be a regrettable mistake. I appreciate your honesty in how you share your experiences and understanding of what was happening too. Elvis would be so proud; as is your brother and mother… the rest of your amazing family ❤❤ Note** Is it addiction or is it self medicating to deal with an unusual and stressful lifestyle ? Addiction = lack of self control Self Medicating = a self chosen ongoing treatment; most likely because it may of been the only way to just keep going, to keep moving forward A doctor cannot truly have the understanding you think they should/ do; hence the reason for varied fields of medicine; but they still don’t always get it right and people in these situations don’t always simply walk away and start new lives; they persist… PS Great interview and interviewer

Back then, people/media etc. were convinced it was fake for Michael Jackson’s image’s sake, the same when he was with Brooke Shields way back in the 80’s. No allegations then, just his reputation/rumours about being gay/virgin/asexuall/child with kids and animals for friends. Michael Jackson definitely also felt the need to convince people. When they were engaged/married (can’t remember if it was one or the other), they walked on stage at some sort of award show/event only with the purpose of a long kiss. Others just thought it was a publicity stunt : “The legend Michael Jackson with the daughter of one of his biggest idols, another legend, Elvis Presley.” The fact that the marriage only lasted a year also seemed to confirm to people that it was fake. Lisa Marie was asked in almost all interviews if their relationship was genuine, even in recent years. Maybe you already know all of this, in that case, sorry 😄, but that’s the backstory.
