I can't stand a self righteous hypocrite , especially when it's in the form or a yte man. Jim Carey has been SILENT with regards to all of Hollywood's aka his extended families pedophiles, racism, sexism and the RACIST history and current racist affairs of Oscar's but now they're not the cool kids anymore? So it's ok for yall to make violent movies but when a human behaves as a human does! You want to cry ? Stamp your feet complain ? If this isn't the epitome of privilege. Amerikkka loves their whites docile , meek and kind. They don't care if you're violent at your own awards but how dare you bring that to THEIR house although their houses have been filled with white washed Graves for eons

I think the last part of that did it for me. “I am enough” I feel like a lot of celebrities keep pushing forward for the next biggest thing. Many celebrities has said they’re never happy, they want more. Maybe that’s how Jim started out, young and ambitious, wanting the next biggest thing. Then somewhere over the years he got in touch with his personality and spirituality and now realizes he’s enough. He doesn’t need any more of it. At least this is what I’m choosing to believe off his statements, might be a stretch though ha.. An amazing entertainer, I wish him the best and thank him for what he’s shared with the world.

Jim is one of the real ones. He isn't about tormenting himself with that celeb life. As you age, you want to hope you grow with wisdom and reflect on your past to keep evolving yourself to being a better you. To be able to attain his level of contentment would be something. I have really enjoyed all his creative contributions on screen and off screen. His artwork is a delight to ogle.

Finally. Another person that realizes that their job or career doesn't have to be forever. It doesn't have to be dragged out to the nth degree or until they dry up or look tired. Get out and enjoy your family and friends. And do something for himself that's different than acting and being part of Hollywood until your mansion crumbles to the ground and you come out at 90 with cobwebs on your back just to say you acted for life over and over again. I'm sure the whole thing gets tiresome after a while. Good for him. I loved when Doris Day left too and spent some time in her life doing other things. Gosh. We try and force these people to act to death. Lol. As though acting is the only profession that matters and therefore it has to be done until they bury you...or to an embarrassing degree. Ok. Maybe not forced. But the energy is there to push them in roles.

Is that a new trend - people who think their career has to be forever?
@randymulder91052 жыл бұрын
@@user-mj7gm6gj9v mostly me ranting...nonsense. I watch a lot of movies and read about actors. And so many seen to do it forever and ever to the point where they just look tired. Lol. I suppose if you have a rich lifestyle and no one is hiring you anymore...then you have to keep acting to pay off your giant mansion in Hollywood. It's fascinating reading about the actors that quit after saving money, buying a ranch and just retiring with their horses, or quitting and going into furniture sales, fashion, teaching, or just totally dropping out of the scene and becoming a bus driver in a small town. Or some just love doing the fan circuit after they find acting too much. Wikipedia is amazing for information or even connecting with retired actors. Some are very receptive to chatting! Some do a few big movies or shows and are happy with the money they made and meet with fans..with other actors. It's cool. A lot of child actors leave the industry to find other careers too. I met the child from the movie The Brood and she is still involved with fans and is very proud of the movie but has no interest in pursuing more acting. She is still part of the fan circuit! One movie. And she had enough. Lol. But she is still fascinated with the movie industry. Her phone is full of pictures from her role in the movie. Her name is Cindy Hinds. She said the other actors were really good at teaching acting too. Very patient. She loved doing that movie as a child. It's not they are forced ...I guess ..just the energy to push them into roles is there ..which is positive for most..clearly. But some want out and can't seem to leave it all.

Dear Mr. Carrey, I woke up this morning to find this video on my feed. I’m not gonna lie, it instantly hurt me in my heart with a couple of tears shed, slightly of happiness as well though. We grew up watching you, you amazed us, you inspired us. I remember you had a phase with the nature of the universe, a magnificent realization to the whole of us who were actually happy you had those revelations. Why? Most of “us” are already fully aware of that, and we’re happy that you have opened your eyes since then. But mostly, I am happy you get to leave an ignorant background behind as well. I’m wishing you well with the rest of your career: your own job to satisfy yourself only from this point further, you have done more than enough, but we’ll never have enough of you. Thank you for all the great times, the great lessons, and the deeper messages we get when watching you. Perhaps you can find comfort in the idea that some of your audience were on the same page as you the whole time. I truly hope that the golden ink will find its way to you. Thank you for everything.
