'Riverdale's' Mädchen Amick & Skeet Ulrich Are Hilarious Discussing The Impending Arrival Of Gladys

"Riverdale" is set to finally introduce the much talked about, but never seen character of Gladys Jones (Jughead's mom) and Mädchen Amick and Skeet Ulrich had Access cracking up earlier this summer while discussing how Alice Cooper feels about FP Jones' ex heading back to town. And, the actors dish on Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse prepping to play younger versions of Alice and FP by studying their '90s work. "Riverdale" returns Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c on The CW.

i can't get behind the kids playing young parents :/ its pretty lazy unless they do it in a visually interesting way..like phoebe tonkin looks so similar to madchen.. CW is known for being low budget. It's much cheaper and easier for them to use people they already have than to put out a casting call. They even use Mark Consuelos' real son as a young him.

I get what you mean, but I think they might have done it for money but also for other reasons 1.It makes more sense & it’s more realistic That’s the main thing, it makes things more interesting and more realistic so that’s why And do keep in mind they still spend a lot of money on the show, low budget, mmhhh I don’t think so, they spend it on actors, set, cameras,staff and so much more, they are not really low budget even to start with
