Liz G. It probably was better being second. He wasnt tied into that idol contract. Clarkson had some problems too with the contract. It gave him some freedom to do his own projects. Last year there was a rumor that Alejandro was telling his fans to not vote for him because he didnt want that idol contract. He wanted to be free to do his own thing. Im happy idol found such an incredible talent.

I’m getting so much fun and enjoyment from watching Adam do these interviews and performances from his home. Also seeing once again just what a beautiful person he really is makes me feel very humble and definitely brings out the feel good factor. He’s Adam, he’s down to earth and compassionate and understanding and extremely caring. It also makes me realize yet again just why I love him as much as I do. Great interview. I have a friend who is an ICU nurse from San Francisco, now deployed to a reservation in the Navajo nation. I sent the video of the song to her. They loved it there.
