Anxiety from the loss of my Son was so bad that my heart was compromised. Thankfully a Doctor worked with me to find a non Benzo solution. Who would have thought a prescription antihistamine would do wonders. I take 10 mg of Hydroxyzine as needed. I could not function without this. Benzo's are horrible and very hard to get off. I am forever grateful for my Dr's help.

"I was genuinely unhappy for the first time in my life". I like Ryan a lot, and I empathize, I'm glad he was able to get over that. But, it STILL blows my mind whenever I hear an adult saying "it's the first time I was unhappy/depressed/anxious to the point of breakdown"... It was such a weird revelation to realize some people have happy childhoods.

I feel ya. I have struggled with depression for over 40 years. I feel like I've had every form of it. Thankfully, it is under control 95% of the time now. Bless Ryan, even if he only experiences it once, he won't forget it. It's a dark place.
