Not clear of his intentions of being on the show. I think he may have felt some type of way after seeing her place and not sure if he was attracted so he is using this as an excuse or assumption. It seemed he was negging her even over the karaoke machine which for me was already a red flag.

As a Black man, in the black community he knows how negative and degrading that description is to Black women. Once he start having the conversation with her cousin he is the one that became aggressive. That just showed his projection. I was rooting for them, but this guy has a lot going on insecurity being one. An insecure man is a dangerous one. Some of his aggressiveness was because he already had his walls up with the cousin from the previous conversation. Perhaps he was over stimulated being in a group social setting because he seems like an introvert. However, bottom like he still have things he need to work on.

Someone who is colorist puts lighter skinned ⚫️ on a pedestal... thinks they are better. On the flip side they think darker skinned ⚫️ (especially women) are not as good or as pretty. Asking your new husband questions is not being aggressive. I have been posting since the wedding episode that Ikechi has a serious issue with people asking him questions. He gets very irritated. If the questions continue, he gets angey. You have to watch after the party. There were 3 women asking him questions, and by the end, he wanted to run out of the room. His hands were shaking. Ikechi has some very serious and deep emotional issues. I worry about Emems safety. A person like Ikechi will eventually result in physical abuse.

I turly enjoyed Camille's sister perspective on how they can define what culture looks like for Camille and Tom. I think Tom's upbringing is more of a issue then Camille wants to admit. IKE using being from the south as an excuse to call EM's curiosity "aggressive" is pathetic. From the clips, ive seen EM is open, direct, self assured, and genuinely interested in the process and with getting to know IKE. I believe EM cousin was aggressive in his line of questioning towards IKE but i understand why. FYI I went on 2 dates with IKE during COVID after matching on hinge. He is a creative, deep thinker and dreamer of love but could be arrogant when challenged with perspective outside of his own. Also, I felt like something was off so i communicated i was interested. He definitely gaves a friend vibes. Its not a coincidence that he describes EM as the " homey". I can appreciate Davids persistence in teying to fix things with Michelle but she doesnt respect him. If he is comfortable going out to bars w white friends where there have been racially charged incidents, that is evidence that his upbringing and/or or neighborhood have led him to be okay with those sorts of demeaning environments. What I would say aɓout Ikechi and Emem is that he sees himself as an Alpha male and wants his wifre to follow his lead in everything(the fish tacco thing a classic example), but what i see with Emem is she is independent and confident althòugh she is quite relaxed she also likes to take the lead and get things done. Although this isnt bad Ikechi sees this as undermining his role. They both need to understand each other more. That is all that is happening. Its a situation of compromising not too ,much but enough to make the other happy. Also Ikechi needs to stop overthinking.
