I totally relate with anxiety and panic attacks but like we can't expect people around us to suffer with us dude; it's not fair. Statler needs therapy and medication. She does seem miserable and there's help; she doesn't have to be that anxious and miserable. And if our mental illness is so out of control that it brings others down, I'm sorry, but people are allowed their peace. Saying this as someone too depressed to even date right now lol. It's like Dempsy is expected to never enjoy herself...

Dempsey is not responsible for studying up on how to relieve her anxiety. Statler expects way too much of other people, like they should coddle her and cater to her all the time.

That really made me mad that really hit a nerve with me. I’m like you have three beautiful children. You decide no her children are not even grown. The oldest is a teenager. How are you? Hide a marriage from your kids for two years and then they just recently met their stepfather that’s wild then you tell them oh yeah that’s not my boyfriend we’ve been married for two years, what kind of sister does that make that could be predator for all he could be around and be a predator to them like that is wild. Having anxiety doesn't give someone the right to project their misery onto everyone else around them. If Statler can't function under pretty basic circumstances, perhaps it wasn't a good idea to move into a tiny van and force all of her own mental issues onto Dempsey. Statler needs help, not a girlfriend in a tiny van.

Clearly you don’t understand anxiety. It isn’t a choice and she has been very transparent. Dempsey was only thinking of herself pushing the issue while she is smack in the middle of an attack. Literally an hour of reading would help her to understand how to deal with someone while having an anxiety attack. Every single person has their issues. We choose to support our partners through good and bad.

Statler communicated that she was not doing well and asked many times if they could please discuss the issue after they got off the boat. A very reasonable and healthy way to approach the situation. But those requests were completely disregarded and ignored.

I'v been in a relationship with someone with high anxiety to the point they would shake and I'd want to call an ambulance... But they act NOTHING like this girl. She is ALWAYS MISERABLE and actually gets upset every time the other girl is happy. There is something more going on with her. She's not even happy when she's happy, lol. She is so monotone and just ugh...miserable...I don't see how anybody can fall in love with someone like that. She should NOT be in a relationship with anybody but herself. I always thought she was way too pushy and clingy. She needs some kind of help. That girl should've left a long time ago. She's just bringing herself down.

I feel sorry for Statler. To me it seems that Dempsey is taking advantage of her weakness, but at the same time I wish Statler would stand up for herself. She said she put up the most money for the van and it still working, yet Dempsey stopped working. It's already bad that this is all Dempsey doing and Statler didn't want to live like that. I pray Statler leaves the relationship and finds the strength to take time for herself to heal from her childhood trauma. Overall, Statler is a good person and just wants to be loved. I hope Sarper and Shekinah make it and have a happy life together,, and their families support them. I'm not certain what i think about Josh and Lily. Dempsey and Statler are like a house on fire. With Statler seemingly wallowing in misery 90% of the time, or telling Dempsey she thinks she's being scammed, i don't think they will stay together. I also find it hypocritical that Statler didn't sell her car, to keep it for a backup plan, but is upset Dempsey has saved 500 pounds from the sale of her car. Also, Statler was the one who was pushing for and trying to rush their living together.

Dempsey is an ableist b who wants her disabled girlfriend to support her while Dempsey gets "excited" travelling, plus she has to mirror Dempsey's moods, not have her own experiences and emotions. Dempsey literaly tells Statler she is not panicking, when she is, and has told Statler that Autism and ADHD don't exist, that's it's all in her mind! That's so cruel! She decided to ignore Statler's dual diagnosis and now is blaming Statler in the middle of her panic attack. Why is Dempsey asking to be accomodated in having to accomodate her disabled girlfriend, who also doesn't want to "feel like this". Statler is actually the one going through it, but Dempsey is making it all about her, while making it worse for Statler, to the point she has to cover her ears.
