Flatplane crank smoked the exhaust note on this. Idk why they did it either bc the regular M178 in the GT/GTS/GTC/GTR can make 800hp with ease. And the variant in the AM DBX 707 shares the turbos on this car and sounds like thunder. They didn’t need to change the crank if you ask me, but I guess for the extra RPM

I love my 2006 porsche cayenne turbo s just did valve tronic exhaust build new diverter and bypass cats love it and soon to tune if I can find good tuner for it no issues no engine lights tune need the right shop

Hello Sir, Ive a Black Series with catless Pipes and you are absolutely right. I doesnt make anything better just louder. Still sounds like a broken fax machine but its hell of great car on the track. I am super excited what you do with the exhaust and also on the mapping. Its a very difficult car to do tuning on without going crazy on the torque and kill the driveability.

The GT black series sounds different because it has a flat plane crank unlike the other ones, I was the first one to work on one in the US. It was the first one in Boston, Massachusetts at the dealership. I was working at the time pretty sweet car got to take it around the block a few times.
