Jeremy, you need to work on your "disaster piano", it's still quite good.

Outstanding content. The "piece piece' method is something I think I can attempt. I should say also that Lia is a fabulous singer.

This is exactly the advice and instruction I'm looking for right now! Excellent examples, and very smart to show how they work with a singer. And Lia, thank you for being so patient, letting Jeremy interrupt the hypnotic mood and emotion you created so that he can talk and explain. Your voice is so soothing! Thanks to both of you. I'm going to keep coming back to watch this video. You are both so generous with your talent and knowledge!

I have a question that came up when you were playing the peace peace version. It sounds like you are not playing strictly in time. Even at the beginning she came in it felt “late” but you waited for her. Am I imaging this?
@JeremySiskind2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the time can be stretchy without being “rubato/out of time.” It’s sometimes nice to have a little push and pull like a pianist might have when they play Chopin.
