I cannot coordinate both sides to work how can I get used to the left hand and the right hand doing different things I've been practicing a lot and I will continue to practice but is there a trick
@dalemathisaccordion4 жыл бұрын
Without being in the same room with you while you are practicing, it is difficult to say. But, perhaps two things: play slower, but at a steady pace, and the other is to practice the left hand so much, to the point that it almost plays by itself - to the point you no longer have to think about it. At that point you can put more focus on the right hand while your left hand is in "auto" mode.

@@dalemathisaccordion Many thanks for that Dale, of course I agree Dale but the British Collage of Accordionists do recommend getting pupils used to playing bass staccato when learning possibly as a lead in to the music and exercises that will be played at later levels. @dalemathisaccordion4 жыл бұрын
Because I cannot see what 3 black keys you are referring to, it is difficult for me to give you an answer. I am guessing that you are playing on a full size accordion, if so, the key closest to your chin will be an F key. Just remember that the key pattern always repeats, 2 black, then 3 black. Different size accordions will have different number of keys, but the pattern is always the same.

Buy from a music store rather than on-line such as ebay or craig's list. The music store people should know what they are selling, the on-line sellers often have no idea what condition the instrument is in.

I got the itch to play again and the only song i can remember by ear is the beginner's waltz from the 1950's that the teach taught me. The bass chords were C and G and D. Would you happen to know where I can get the sheet music for that song which would show the the numbers for the fingers for the right hand as I am still learning how to read music. Thank you..

The great thing about video is that you can watch for a couple minutes, then work on a concept, then come back to the video for a couple minutes and review. After you understand the first concept you can repeat the process and work on the next concept.

Besides, what business of it is yours what he plays or do you not get that his motive in posting is in aptly instructing people? Though too, the fact that he responded to you with grace and dignity rather than anger in the face of your comment says a great deal more about the caliber of this man's character over yours. But then again, with a user name like 'derail' its more than obvious that you intentionally incite negative feedback from people all over the internet in thinking that receiving negative attention is better than receiving no attention at all. That said, in light of your comment, if anyone here is explemplary of a child, its far from being this man but instead, you.
