When you removed the reeds they were all placed in order on your cutting board but the they were jumbled up when you put them in the sonic cleaner. How do you know which order the reeds go into the reed block?

Good spot ! I listen to the sound of each reed by gently 'pinging' it and then arrange them in pitch order.
