Accordion Style Mini album/folio-collab w/

I’m back with another Christmas project from our #scrappychristmaskrafts collaboration where Karolina (Karolina’s Krafts) and myself do a Christmas project on the 25th (or around there lol) of each month. It’s a fun way for us to use up some of our Christmas stash plus have fun with all of you. I used an Authentique collection from my stash-A Magical Christmas. I used a 6x6 paper pad, a few cutaparts from a 12x12 sheet and a few stickers. (You can probably find this collection on Etsy or Ebay)

Such a sweet album....I have never made one, I can also see it for a baby's first year, that would be so cute! I always, always love your front covers, it amazes me how gorgeous they always are, I struggle with my front covers! I can't believe how you'll find any time to craft with so much traveling in August, no worries, I am totally patient...LOL...take care, travel safe and thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I probably take the most time on the covers. I have to figure the cover out first then I figure it out again at the end lol. That’s what takes me so long cuz I can never make up my mind 🤦🏻‍♀️😜

You just crack me up. When I started this video and saw that it was less than an hour long I could imagine that you were actually going to have a tutorial in addition to the wall through. Oh, my gosh! LOVE the cover of this project!! That Recollections doily die is one of my most favorite dies...so glad I got the last one in stock at my local Michael's a couple of years ago. I do miss Authentique! That ribbon is perfect for this project. My preference is to use the zig zag construction technique...nice that you bring up different construction methods. I did purchased that We R Memory Keepers burnishing tool after seeing the ease of your hands using it...feels comfortable and does a nice job. You must know that many of us are impressed with the number of projects you manage to squeeze into your very busy life!! I'm retired yet I am always behind!! I could use this accordion base for a Christmas Countdown. I've seen some people put a bow closure on each side. So many wonderful choices! Thanks for posting this video...much appreciated!

Thank you. 🥰 I love that die too, so much that I had to buy 3 lol. I’ll probably try the zigzag next time to see if I like the larger size better. It’s a fun project though. I almost did the tie on both sides but that was going to use up more ribbon n I’m trying to save as much as possible lol.

I’ve only ever made one accordion album and that was last year using scraps. Thanks for reminding me how cute these turn out! Love yours too! Never thought of using 6x6 paper!

Yea I need to make more to figure out the best way to construct. I definitely think I’ll make a bigger size next time to fit exact 6x6 😉

I think the album is very nice. Can you do closures that are not ribbon or magnetic? Hope things go well for your son. I always enjoy your tutorials.

Thank u and yes you can. I just wanted to use my ribbon lol. But you could add flaps that fold over into a belly band closure 😉

Absolutely. You would just layer your pages to make the pocket and glue on 3 sides 😉

So...what if you used the G45 Warm Wishes folio that you built as the tutorial for the July 4th folio, as your collab project for August? Just decorate the inside and then link off to the tutorial with a time stamp showing when it starts. Just a thought. AND I will seriously pay to have your scraps sent south. All of those strips you showed, I have a great use for those.
