Not a single cop has any responsibilities to do anything but stand around and intimidate a citizen

Ya, they don't really have crime in Vegas. There is no prostitution, drugs, drunkenness etc... Actually cops really have no interest in fighting actual crime with victims. It's much easier to just pull people over, demand i.d. and check for warrants. I'm sure writing traffic tickets is very profitable. It's just too bad that the cops will make up reasons and lie to pull someone over. They really need to educate and evaluate these morons better. Much better!

No, he has a point, if this is an actual profession to be a cop, they should hold professional liability insurance just like doctors, nurses, lawyers, and every other profession who deals with the public. The insurance company decides what the risk of exposure is to a lawsuit based on their behaviors and claims, when a claim comes in the officer would then have to pay it out of his personal malpractice insurance policy not the state or town that he works for if he loses his qualified immunity. Not that this is the answer but it would help. We should also require a four-year degree in criminal justice to get a badge and a gun. Three months is ridiculous to people who have a real profession (of training).I have 11 years of college, police Academy is laughable, as we’ve seen they don’t even cover the Bill of Rights or the constitution. We should require a masters degree for Sergeant or better, why do we pay people so much money for so little little little little little little IQ???

Really, they knew they law???, many, many policemen have been asked what they First, Second, Fourth Fifth, etc, Amendment Law’s are, and didn’t have a clue, couldn’t answer. Many have been falsely accused and jailed for days for a crime that wasn’t committed, because they didn’t know the Constitution. Probably over half of those officers didn’t have a clue, they were ready for a lawsuit, falsely arrested him, truly believing he was committing a offense. Police who have been working as Supervisor’s for over 20 year’s, also didn’t know about the First, Forth and Fifth Amendment. Sadly, people have been killed because the officers didn’t know the rights of the person. Sadly, most have been of color. Not saying this is racist, but police officers have to take a course in the Constitutional Law’s. In Europe, to be a police officer, it’s 3 year’s in a Police Academy School, before they can call themselves…… Policemen. Here it’s only 6 months. It’s not enough.
