I think what would be good, somehow, is not just make statements, but to evidence they are true: 'I have great planning skills, and pay particular attention to detail' etc ete is just a statement and doesn't actually demonstrate actual experience. With this statement you are relying on the interviewer asking further questions to acertain this and give you the opportunity to evidence.

I used to talk about staying extra hours, however when you work for the state in America a union job, they tell you to walk out when time is up, you should be able to get your work done within the time alotted, if not speak to management, you will find those before you had the same complaints.
