• Accounting for Beginne... BEST ACCOUNTING PLAYLIST ON KZbin !!!!!!!! AFB #17 T-Accounts: I go through T-Accounts in this video, and the effects the T-Accouts have on Debits and Credits. The easiest way to keeps debits and credits, and Assets = Liabilities + Equity ( Accounting Equation) straight. This is how i passed the CPA Exam to become a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. You can use the information in the video on your first day of Accounting class all the way tho being a CPA. Debits, Credits, Assets, Draw, Expenses, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue. This video has a very basic example and can be used in the most advanced situations. Learn Debits and Credits and the basic accounting equation which is assets = liabilities + equity. This will also help with the income statement which is Revenues - Expenses. I hope you enjoy the video. In this video i go over journal entries. Get your tips here in this accounting for beginners video. There is also information on the balance sheet here in this video. I also go over Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Depreciation, Accumulated Depreciation, Putting Assets on the books, Fifo and Lifo Inventory Valuation, and so much more in this series for beginners.

@@theparadigm8149 I accept your apology. It wasn't needed though. My videos were rather immature. I felt i needed to do something different to get views, then the standard boring lecture / i was also in a different place when i made these earlier videos. The last part of your full "DC ADE LER" diagram that I didn't understand was what you meant when saying both sides are positive. It makes sense now after watching this vid. If it's on the right (LER), then credits are up and debits are down. If it's on the left (ADE), then debits are up and credits are down. Finally popping into place. Thanks so much for your vids!

By some miracle I barely passed my college accounting class. I never really needed to use it until recently. When I got my current job two years ago I had to start using some basic accounting. I've struggled to understand it. After watching your first video was a lightbulb moment. I finally get it. Thanks for the videos. Can you do some on algebra next, LOL.

Hey I know this is an old video. 3 weeks into my accounting class I was taught that Debits are increase and Credit decrease. I see that when you talk about liabilities credit goes up and debit down, the inverse of what i understand. Theres a good chance I misunderstood, could you help me clarify? the positives and negatives are taking a toll on me lol.

Like the teaching. Super helpful. (Sounds like he's on his last breath though. This happens to me too, when I know I have a lot to say. Might help to do a calming, grounding breath exercise before he speaks.) Also like that he swears. I don't know why. Just more engaging, less stuffy. Thumbs up!
