at 8:15 why do we need to deduct 5000 from securities premium and p/l a/c to tally the balance. i want the logic. like if we can deduct it from securities premium and p/l a/c then i have a doubt that we can also deduct from where ever we want from other random transactions. it is like changing the rules according to the problem. plz dont get me wrong and explain if possible

Yes, we can. But 1 simple logic is applied here by a common man that, assume that you got 2 set of 200rs in which your father says that use 1 only to buy from bakery and 2 is yours. Assume that 1 can only be used at bakery nowhere else. And you visit the bakery 1st and if you use the 2 there. Then your free quota will decrease and restricted one was never used which means that now 1 will remain there only and will never be used. Same concept is applied that 1st use the most restrictive one and slowly go toward more free reserves. Therefore, p&l is used at last. And SPR 1st.

Sir I had one doubt in this lecture.. ## 28:30 The authorised capital is 11 lakhs(ES &PS) and in that bonus 1/4th is 250000 (10 lakhs/4= 250000) totally 1350000 ... But you did other Authorised capital(ES & PF) =1100000 Add: Bonus shares(1/4 of ES) =250000 Total. =1350000

bonus issue is fully on fully paid up equity capital so in the question bonus is to be issued on 90,000 shares not on 100000shares, however preference shares doesn't effect by issue of bonus shares

Sir,in the book they were taken authorized capital as 100000+100000(25%)=125000 but you only taking issued capital 90000 as authorized capital.Why they were taken 25% on 100000 authorized capital what is the reason for that

There is no hard and fast rule for increase in authorised capital. what you can do is that to the extent of shortfall, increase authorized capital.
