Labour Turnover is calculated in the following manner Separations method = Number of People who Retired divided by average number of Employees on Payroll Replacement Method= New Joinings in the organisation divided by Average number of Employees on Payroll Flux Method= Jobs Lost Plus Jobs Regained divided by the average number of Employees on Payroll It is the most ideal method of Calculating Labour Turnover also popularly known as the Attrition rate Labour Turnover happens when the Learning curve is misbehaving So the Ideal Provit volume Ratio has to be considered and the Formula is one Divided by Profit volume Ratio

because we have to take out the average of number of worker in a period so for taking out average we will calculate the opening worker in that period plus closing worker in that period an divide it by two(2) to get average worker in a period so in this question 950+1050=2000 2000/2 = 1000 1000 will be the average number of worker in a period
