Lorie thank you for the video. A humble request....please can you and your fellow Ghanaian youtubers begin a campaign (at least in Accra) to bring down those huge unused signboards with rags hanging on them? They are an absolute eyesore. I sincerely wish for you guys to be active content creators who don't just bring us the videos but who vigorously challenge the status quo by doing the little that you can (emphasis on LITTLE) to rectify what you notice to be wrong when you go to shoot your videos around the country even if the government won't. You guys are in the best postion to do so. Remember it doesn't have to be anything huge....for e.g a spirited campaign to bring down them u gly signboards will go a long to change the face of Accra and the country even if the AMA won't do it. My 2 cents, please think about it. 🙏
@lorie_lawson Жыл бұрын
Noted but in this same country when one takes on a project that has to do with the government you are either sanctioned or queried. The bill boards you see out there are managed by agencies and they are to take down banners old and new yet you hardly see them do it. If I should do this on my own in the name of my country ghana whoever is in charge or paid to put their post up comes for me. The little I can do is help within my community and hopefully that makes some changes. Thanks

I wish the tour guide had a microphone cause in a few years after doing this without it, his voice would become alil rusty and matured.

Yes usually they have a microphone but it’s damaged at the moment and that’s why he used his voice

Ghanaians need to clean up their cities. There is too much dust (red sand) on the roadsides/sidewalks

You are right. The roadsides should be swept with trucks made for sweeping roads to make Ghana look cleaner that it is. If we want tourism to make Ghana lots of money we have to pay attention to these small and seemingly insignificant, but important issues.

Where should we put them Ma. Do you realize that, that is a natural soil and no matter how you try you cannot remove it ??,
@kriskros1592 Жыл бұрын
@mrs.tt-ocansey3144 stop tripping. Go to Cotonou and Abidjan to see how clean those cities are. Ghanaians with their excuses. Clean up ur cities and stop yapping.

I’m a Ghanaian and I agree. We need better sanitation and cleaning purposes

The most unsightly thing in Ghana now, are the metal frame of advertising hoarding with no adverts at all and these stand for years, especially those mangled, twisted, broken metal frames. The Ministry of Local Government which supervises Metropolitan, Municipal and District authority, should in strong collaboration and support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, remove all metal frames not carrying or holding any advertisement, from the cities, towns and villages of Ghana, They are an eyesore to look at, on KZbin videos which strongly promote or damage the image and reputation of nations and organisations round the world. All advertising hoardings mounted to blocking the tourist view of public buildings and other landmarks, like the National Theatre, the ECOBANK Building, the new National Mosque in Ghana should be removed. REMOVE THESE UNSIGHTLY METAL FRAMES WITH NO ADVERTISEMENTS OR RISK GHANA BEING SEEN BY THE WORLD AS A NON SERIOUS AND DISORGANISED NATION.

If our leaders had been fair and good to us, Obuasi could have been more beautiful than New York...Gold mining started in that village about 70 years ago but it is miserable to visit that town...Blacks are different human beings...go to the white man country..no gold, no diamond etc..but we'll developed..how did God create us...very shameful
