How does another crew member hide in a room that's locked that no one whatsoever can get into, that has a viewing port wich stuart actually pointed the camera into and where nothing but the physical cell was revealed and continue to make a banging so loud that if it was human you'd physically have to be stood up banding on it which in turn means being seen?

It's a interesting program, with likeable people and fantastic locations. Not to mention the history of these places, and the ever exciting "what if they catch something tonight?". You need an open mind and a healthy imagination to really appreciate it, perhaps that's what your missing?

What an amazing location. Before the investigation started the amazing doors banging like crazy. I have no idea how Stuart stayed so calm. On his own during the investigation, when the door started hammering like that in the holding cells. And Glen should actually include the word faint when he describes the fight or flight response to unexpected events occurring. This has to be right up there with Most Haunted best episodes ever. Fascinating. Also a lot if footsteps and tapping responses to questions asked. Overall "What an amazing investigation it was".

20 years... Since I was 10 years old.. I still remember the first one...yes...the pilot...now....I'm 30... And I have 4 daughters now, I get the chance too watch and keep on watching with me girls...it's crazy the way the world works eh?.. I'm lovin it... Of course they have to prove their genuine they’ve got 3 of the biggest fakers on tv on there obviously they’re not going to put cameras both sides of the door we’d see the crew on the other side banging, having said that as viewers we can’t hear where the bangs actually come from I’ve seen Stewart kicking tables on many occasions and Fred with his book of incantations you’d think he’d know them by now being the UK’s only demonology expert according to him.

I have just come across this episode, and having heard stories from people that have served time, what Stuart was hearing from cell 5 is the prisoner's way of communicating with other inmates or celebrating something, such as New Year, Christmas, etc. They would bang on the door to show their pleasure or displeasure at something.

If you mean 'cell 5', it was locked with no key. At one point, when Stu pointed his camera thru the viewing box during the banging, you could clearly see it was empty.

And Stuart - fair play to you, you really kept your nerve in the cells - the banging in cell 5 is exactly what an angry prisoner sounds like when they lie down and kick the inside of the cell door.
