Please don’t take no offense because I actually do not like using the word African because I know y’all go by your tribes,. However, y’all have the best crochet garments on the Internet. Crochet started in Germany, and yes, most of us American women who do crochet have been doing it since we were one digit year old. But you ladies have taken it to another level.

I really love all of your tutorials and they are very easy to follow! I started crocheting about 6 months ago and i really learned a lot through your videos. ❤ You inspired me to make/design my own dress now. But one thing that i just can't seem to wrap my head around is: How would you do increases on a really flowy full circle skirt with different stitch patterns in it? I wonder what you would do in this case. Keep on inspiring, girl! you rock ❤

Hi Agnes. I absolutely love your channel! Thank you so much for all that you do. I enjoyed the measurement video. I was wondering if there is a general rule of thumb for the number of chains that you make to avoid the project being overly large. How many stitches should I reduce to allow for the stretch, 10, 15 or 20?

Hi, Agnes. I have some questions to ask you. The question is after taking your shoulder measurements, for example let say that the shoulder measurements is 15inch then how will you now make the foundation chains so😊 more explanation is needed please
@accrochets Жыл бұрын
Hi, this is a measurement guide to my tutorials. If you have watched some of them, you will realize that I always mention that e.g foundation chain equivalent to shoulder measurements plus 2 inches for example. That means for that particular pattern it would be 15 +2 =17 inches of foundation chain. Take an example of this cardigan tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmS0Z42QgbWKbbs
@kennyagunbiade Жыл бұрын
@@accrochets Hi, Agnes. Sorry if I am asking too much now. To the above response according to you, so we should be adding extra two chains to whatever the measurement number is. For example, to bust measurement, neck, waist and hips. Is that also apply to every style like dresses, skirts,pants etc.
@accrochets Жыл бұрын
@@kennyagunbiade definitely not, I just gave you an example of one pattern, every pattern is different. Depends on how you want it to fit you. Watch some of my tutorials then you will understand. I add or subtract from these measurements depending on the fit.

Hey, Agnés, thank you so much for your masterclass! I love your work but it’s been hard to adapt it to my size. I hope I’ll succeed now! I still have a question though: On the cardigan, for example, for any sleeve length, do we need to add a couple of inches to the chosen length for a good fit?( thanks to Google Translator! I am writing from Brazil!🇧🇷) All the best!
@accrochets Жыл бұрын
It depends on how you want it to fit. You can adjust, add a few inches for a more loose folded fit or reduce a few inches for a straight fit. Or you can simply measure the sleeve length of your favourite cardigan or jacket at home and use those measurements😊
