Accu-Sim P-40 for Prepar3D RELEASED (with rain physics available to all developers)

Here is our newest Prepar3D Warbird release, the P-40. The P-40 is the most manual and raw Warbird we have made, with a manual throttle and cooling functions. It's a very satisfying airplane to fly.
This P-40 also comes with the latest rain physics we debuted with our Accu-Sim Bonanza. We are now rolling this our entire P3D fleet.
We plan to offer our rain physics as freeware to the developer community so they can easily integrate it into their own projects.

Really wish you guys would consider contracting to develop these aircraft for Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics. Can’t help but feel P3D doesn’t allow awesome warbirds like this the chance to really be experienced like DCS could. Outstanding work on the P 40

Absolutely stunning, have almost all of your other aircraft so think this will have to join them... I know it's very unlikely but my dream is for the Sea Fury to get the A2A treatment in FSX or elsewhere - especially with it not just being an incredible historic prop aircraft but still in use today at Reno etc.

Hopefully you can port this to FSX. I’ve seen it been done before, not naming names, but even in freeware. We’d love to see it, and it can be done...

@Buffy Foster i'm not saying this in a bad way, but rather the fact that i'm eager to get/collect all the new Warbids ports coming to P3D (i don't have the FSX version of the P-40 anyway) Read it as an "automatic buy" for me since i love these planes :)

For developers that just use built in Microsoft FSX / P3D tools, moving from FSX to P3D is much easier. However Accu-Sim is a hybrid, with most of the technology separated which allows us to do all of these cool things. If it was easy, we would have had our entire fleet in P3D a long time ago. In addition, P3D (unlike FSX) is in a constant state of change and evolution. We can't just release and move on; it's a constant effort to maintain compatibility with changes. This isn't a complaint about P3D, just a reality but one we are invested in and dedicated to. P3D is an amazing platform.

@@ShockwaveProd I agree, I could imagine you guys being able to do so much with 64 bit, decided to check out A2A a few days ago and bought the Accu-feel and then the Bonanza V-tail and have been blown away. So I hope you stick with P3D.

Looks like you are or are going to overheat the engine (Prestone Warning)

Yes, I was going to re-shoot it but figured, what the heck, just keep it. If you notice the warning actually goes off after coming out of the dive with full power, which would appear to be the opposite of what you would expect, but we model the coolant that runs through the engine, lines, and radiator. The light goes off because at the top of the climb, I pull the throttle back and that cooler coolant reaches the temperature gauge later when recovering from the dive
