That looks awesome! I've got a question about the Tender, have you got metal wheels fitted? I want metal one's, i bought already 2 set's here in the Netherlands but they all are to big unfortunately

Thanks. They are actually the plastic wheels that came with the tender. However the batteries make the tender very heavy and it tracks quite well.

Beautiful job on your ruby, I enjoy all of your very well made videos of your railroad! One question, the servo arms for the throttle and Johnson bar, did you buy or custom make them, I haven't been able to find any as nice as yours with the set screw for fine adjustments. Thanks for the great videos!

I am glad you enjoyed the videos. Various R/C parts were readily available from local hobby stores, but many of those stores have closed recently. If you look on the internet for "rc airplane steering arm" you may be able to find what you need. Happy railroading!

Thanks! I’m fortunate enough to have a fairly large r/c hobby store within a 45 minute drive , I’ll give that a shot!

My Ruby is fine steaming one way but in reverse it is terrible. Have you any comments or suggestions please?

There are some excellent videos on KZbin about adjusting valve timing which may be helpful in getting smother operation from a Ruby.

@@richardperrelli3970 Hi Richard. Many thanks for your reply. I wouldn't dare mess with my Ruby but I know a man who might.

You may have. The Ruby has been in production for many years so they are out there and I am sure many have ended up with R/C.
