I really don't understand why Nintendo didn't do this in the first place. When I saw the trailer, it really made it seem like they were going to do this, but sadly not.

Truly a let down, i'll always be appreciative of the fact Sora made it and didn't get the 'Smash 4 Cloud treatment' with barely any music or representation. But even then, Cloud got himself a looping victory theme so i see what you mean.

I’m sure Nomura and Sakurai probably talked about incorporating other things as well but because of Disney being stingy it was already hard enough getting sora in. I mean have you seen the bits of info that came out from Sakurai on Sora’s inclusion. It was practically impossible until Last minute. Plus the legality of songs was probably even harder to deal with.

It's more so a matter of can they afford it. They probably wanted to do more but Disney is expensive and smash didn't have a huge budget

I think you’d enjoy the latest Sora victory theme vid where that gets updated! The Dearly Beloved pack. I love the full song and couldn’t help adding it but you’re right, shorter is a lot cleaner.
