I am glad no one bashed Shaitassia for when she admitted that she hadn't seen her kids. Mental health is such a big issue, and one that is especially hard to talk about as a Black American woman. Whether seasonal or diagnosed, depression is a silent killer. As a Black American woman myself who has diagnosed depression, I have suffered many days of not being able to get out of bed and doing simple things over the last thirteen years since my diagnosis. So, I feel for heart in that sense, and my heart broke for her when she was honest about not seeing her kids and then broke down.
@ammcd2012 Жыл бұрын
First, I hope you continue to get better and you have the love and support you need to come out the other side of the depression fog, our community does not really discuss mental health-sending you positivity...As for the episode: I 100% believed that she is hurt and insulted at being closely monitored while talking to the children she carried and brought into the world. I don't have kids, but I could understand avoiding the situation all together and hoping for a speedy resolution instead of going through painful visitations. I bet the children cry and beg and ask "when are we coming home" each time. However, she can't simply make new children to replace the ones she lost custody of-and that is how it looks on the surface. She is trying to heal herself and "make" or replace her babies. She needs to focus on getting her first two back and staying out of the legal system/taking care of her warrants.

Maybe the child wasn’t molested at all.. maybe he’s just making up stories because he knows grandmas hates the guy and he wants attention. Sometimes grown ups go on their little rants to anybody and everybody and the kids are always in the background listening. Not saying that’s what happened 100% but maybe.
@shikarixox1195 Жыл бұрын
The terrifying thing is, this is such a real possibility. People always say a child wouldn't have the capacity to make something like that up, but I know from first hand experience that that's far from true. I've overheard my nieces and nephews no older than 4 to 9 years old talk about sexual topics in graphic detail, back 10+ years ago. I was a teenager at the time and was basically a 24/7 babysitter and known them all their lives, so I know for a fact none of them ever experienced any form of sexual abuse and were never made part of any inappropriate, explicit convos. Idk if it's from internet, movies, or what but kids can become aware of and understand sexual topics extremely early. Not only that, they understand that it's not appropriate for their age and actively conceal the depth of their understanding.
@shikarixox1195 Жыл бұрын
I've also heard a number or children say things about how they're children so they can do or say whatever they want to get people in trouble and get away with it. It's frightening to realize that many kids have the awareness to weaponize their age and know even if they get caught lying they won't get in any real trouble for it.

This actually crossed my mind as well. If this is the case, then I'm sure the kid would prefer being at Grandma's than a homeless shelter and cramped apartment-no matter how much he loves his Mom and her BF. The fact he keeps adding to it, he may feel like he has to keep it going to stay there or keep being spoiled. Unfortunately, I believe something at some point happened to this child because how are these things even in his head if he didn't experience them? Children tell lies about what they see or have experienced.

I think the daughter is telling the truth about the mom not liking him because of the age difference. My scary thought is maybe the kid was getting molested by one of the grandmothers friends or lovers being there all the time. But at the end steve got this entirely wrong she treated that man like a molester before any of the facts were clear, and the kid needs to talk to a victim counselor to see who is doing these things because I believe he was molested. The grandmother needs to apologize for treating him like a molester as well as apologize to her daughter for telling her she loves a molester. My 4yr old went into detail about how her dad touched her. I called 911 & met with CPS. They took my daughter in a room alone, and when they came out I asked what we do from here. The CPS worker looked me up & down like she was disgusted by me and said "Nothing". I asked what she meant and she said they were doing absolutely nothing. I needed to take my kid and go home. I assumed they thought I'd made it up based on whatever my daughter said in that room. When she was 15, she told me a family friend had touched her. She WAS being abused, but it wasn't her dad. I detest CPS with every ounce of my being. The good they do is eclipsed by the torrential of bad.
@kayleesykes2739 Жыл бұрын
Agree completely. CPS not only aids but abates as it brings in income. I have a horrible story I always share to people who are so pro CPS. They do 1% good and they’re praised for it. Then they fuck up the other 99% for the rest of their lives. I still experience mental issues from abuse I endured 10 years ago. I was molested and raped in a rehab center for girls aged 12-17. They would assault us and then later in the night slide snacks, extra allowance, or even narcotics under our door so we wouldn’t tell. We told our social workers after MONTHSSSS of being tormented and they didn’t do a single fucking thing. For another 7 months girls started majorly acting out and finally they started to believe us. CPS from several different counties came in dozens of social workers came in. Not a single person found something reportable. Which to me seems like they either walked through with blindfolds and headphones or they ignored it all! After we started reporting everything the staff had become very aggressive and very violent or would just leave us in isolation rooms for hours. Several clients had broken collar bones or ribs. CPS came in and saw everyone all bruised up and didn’t think anything. 9 of 15 units in the building reported and were given a kit. It took multiple years for them to test them and they had to go to court for THE SAME GUY. And he barely got any jail time. It was the only closure many of us thought we’d get but instead they celebrated CPS for how quickly they moved us out of there AFTER the court case went public.

Accusing someone of molesting a child can get that person killed or ruined their life , gets all facts straight n investigate because u accusing someone, the mother didn’t like that he passed with flying colors..: I will be very careful leaving my child around her …

Something is up with the grandmother. I have a “feeling” she’s covering up for if something did happen to the little boy. I’m extremely happy that the man passed (I forgot his name already despite just watching it). Hopefully this accusation doesn’t hang over his head anymore, & I hope he & his wife can get their kids back. I just have a gut feeling the grandmother is hiding something

I'm glad I'm not the one that feels like she is covering for someone. The grandmother is very suspicious.

Isaiah you are the GOAT!! 💪🏾🦾 you really plead your case fighting for your truth. Steve is very tough with his questions. You tried hard to respect the wolf in sheep clothing. I believe she charged y’all to take y’all places. Young man you kept your composure throughout the show!! I believed everything you said. I felt your struggle 😢. Kudos to your mom!! She raised a man is accurate!! Be Blessed!!

Put the kids first. All that bs will be dropped. She has a serious issue with him. It's not just him at her. She needs to stop with her attitude. For real now for those kids. She definetly said he did it.

The grandmother just needs to get a job that's all this about income. She's jealous she's lonely. She's jealous of her daughter's relationship. She just needs to get a grip. How could you actually supervise your child? When she come to see her children as if you don't know her come on

That’s a mother who is jealous of her daughter and has kept her down her whole life. She’s starting to break free of her now and the mother isn’t happy, resorting even to claiming her kids.

The grandma definitely wasn’t happy that he passed which is weird. But what he stated about children being able to tell multiple people bc he told his grandma is incorrect. There’s a big difference between opening up to a trusted family member compared to a police officer knowing you can get someone in trouble. But he handled that shove amazingly not a lot of people would’ve reacted the same.
