If he died does not mean I need to consider him the Bruce Lee of rock singing or something .Because his voice simply don't have the strong tone and the power of Brian ... @@wendylansford173 I have to agree with this, I do think Bon wrote a lot of the Back In Black album. The lyrics on You Shook Me are far too clever and good to be the Young brothers or Brian. It's strange that the lyrics on BIB are great, and then they churned out nothing but crap as far as lyrics go after that. The Youngs could write music like no one else, but they're not good lyricists at all. The great lyrics died with Bon
@Apjooz

Angus has said in an interview that "there's some Bon on there". So it's confirmed. I think why they didn't credit Bon was because they only took ideas from him. It would be awkward to admit that this one line in this song is Bon and the rest is Brian in a middle of an effort to keep the band going without Bon.

Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Hopefully Bon gave his life to God at some point. If your whole life is lived without God, and you have no good works to show for it, such as leading people away from God, and you find him at the end, you can be saved, yet so as by fire. I don't know if it is real fire but I do know I don't want to find out the hard way.

My dad raised me listening to ACDC, Journey, Foghat and others back in the 80s. He used to quiz me on "What band is this, what song is it, who sings it" whenever their songs would come on the radio. I got to the point where I can hear the difference between the songs sung by Bon and the ones sung by Brian. He then took me to an ACDC concert on the Stiff upper lip tour for my 18th Birthday that just so happens to be Angus Young's birthday as well. It's a day I will NEVER forget seeing my idols up on stage and in person.

I dont agree. He has a fantastic voice but Brian Johnson has a much more different and genuine voice that had never been heard before and never after. He "screams" the songs that no one does! I saw AC/DC in 1978, 1979 in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Can’t remember the date of the third time that I saw them. It was something else that you could smoke weed and pass a joint, smoke your pipes, and nobody said a word to you, a cop walking by, not anyone. As long as you weren’t getting in trouble or being a complete idiot you were allowed to smoke and rock ‘n’ roll to AC/DC!! 🙌🏻🤙🏻 I’m 62 years old and I have seen them three times in concert twice with lead singer Bon Scott then Brian Johnson. Best concerts!!We were in the 10th row and I’ll never forget it. It was absolutely the best!! Rock on boys, wherever you are. ❤

Bon Scott is the reason anyone ever heard of ACDC. His charisma, stage presence, song writing skills and the fact that he was the definition of Rock and Roll is what made ACDC. Without him they would have stayed a glam rock band.

@tommytrinder.1226 no way. If Bon never died . They would have been just as big. BiB was mostly written by Bon Scott. You can't convince me otherwise. He had told people that he had Highways follow up albums lyrics just about finished. People saw Shook me lyrics in his notebook before he passed. He never stopped writing. He was known as a prolific writer. An after FTATR the lyrics were trash. Fly on the wall? Flick of the switch? Blow up your video? N on an on I mean Who made who??? Who made you? If you made them an they made you then who picked up bill and who made who??? A short time after BIB they ran out of Scott's lyrics. Just a coincidence that his song notebook was stolen an never found. Brian is entertaining but he was no where near the song writer Bon was. Screw the Youngs! Leaving Bons name off the Albums contributors. His family never got any money. I mean 8 months after Bon Dies they have completed the 5th best selling rock album of all time? No way.

@@tommytrinder.1226 -- Bon set up the pins and Brian Johnson just knocked em down. Highway To Hell was their mega album, and whatever they wrote next was going to break big. AC/DC were on their way to superstardom, with Bon or without him. Brian Johnson was the lucky bastard who stepped into the synergy of the upward momentum of the band. Sure it was a horrible sad time, and maybe the sympathy vote propelled the band a little at first, but it was all setup to succeed from the band's career pathway to the point.

@@blacksonne19 its not a matter of convincing, its a matter of you being ignorant. he died when they started bib and the night he died they just started hells bells. he lied to people saying he finished it so he had a reason to party. he had no real friends where they were staying and no family. no wife no girlfriend running low on money. the people that were in those interviews that said they saw his lyrics were literally the biggest crack addicts and were paid to say what the writer of the book wanted. you just listen to dumb conspiracy's without doing any real research yourself. bons family has been making royalties since his death off of all the albums that bon wrote and a steady amount that goes to his brother then its split to 3 separate accounts. if u knew anything about bon it would be that hes a blues writer. and he used the blues formula which u can research yourself if u want to prove yourself to be wrong. if you know all of his lyrics u would know that all of them are connected and tell a story which is what the formula was all about. blues writers would stick to the same types of lyrics and never drift off. example -bon often wrote about , the blues, sex/stds rock and roll, being a musician or jail. brian writes about sex/cars , hard rock, or darker mystical things(witches demons monsters, nothing bon would ever write about). the only notebook they found was his one with the original lyrics written by him and brainstorming of his previous songs and his was sold to the Australian museum . you cannot honestly think u can take blues lyrics and put them into an entirely different genre and make it work , that is pure stupidity. brian explains how he wrote most of his songs off bib and to be frank if bon wrote those, it would be the worst lyrics he ever wrote and i would be disappointed in him. every album before bib was better than it. when did bon ever write about cars? "she was a fast machine she kept her motor clean" connect those lyrics to any song that bon wrote. now go back and see brian is a car fanatic and how angus said why are all your lyrics about cars and he replied "well its about cars and sex" the blues formula when used takes previous irl experiences to form a dna for a writer and bon was addicted to the blues. again if u want to prove yourself wrong api.research-repository.uwa.edu.au/ws/portalfiles/portal/9844750/Quinton_James_Paul_2015.pdf read this pages 175 and up. it will explain how bon wrote his lyrics and how literally all of his songs are connected. then look and brians and see zero resemblance of blues or connections to any of bons lyrics. you people act like its the firsttime a band did a one hit wonder album. some bands do it all in one album and some stretch hits out like the stones or zep. bon didnt write a single bad song or a single song that isnt fitting into his blues formula. now stop bullshitting and telling lies and do some research to see that brian deserves a lot more credit than haters like u give out. the facts are laid out and its on you to face facts. you cant say anyone that said they saw lyrics are telling the truth because they would say anything for money and most of them were street hoes that were blasted 24/7. even his ex wife is a bullshitter , he left that liar before he died because he knew she was no good, now she wrote books to make money off of his death.

Slightly disagree with that. They became unparalleled when Brian Johnson joined, and been so ever since. Back In Black, for instance, is still on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. And while Bon had a great stage presence, I think Johnson brought a fuller, guttier sound into the band --- and he still sounds like he's in his 30s. In any case, I always liked Johnson better.
