ACDSee for Beginners - 04 - Developing Images

Just trying ACDSee and cannot believe that a main tutorial is on such a poor image - no dynamic range - blown out sky and generally not what I would ever edit. Thank you, you have convinced me not to purchase this software so back to DxO and Photoshop.

The photographer admits he "would probably never give [the image] to a client" at 7:45 Perhaps not the best example of what the software can do. I wanted to see a well-shot image really pop with this workflow. What does it do better than the competition?
