Weirdly, I found him more entertaining in the anime than in the game, even though they didn't change his character at all. Maybe it's because there's less of him?

Either that or he was given more moments for his personality/character to ACTUALLY shine, instead of being reduced to a (kind of) laughing stock. It seems (to me at least) like he's being treated less as a comedic punching bag and more as a theater kid (though there ARE still traces of that left). All his sass and dramatics are so charming here instead of being an obnoxious waste of time!
