I'm South Korean. So I was able to immerse myself more strongly because the crisis of the Republic of Emmeria seemed similar to that of South Korea during the Korean War. In such a situation, the feeling of reversing the situation around the main characters, me and Garuda squadron is unforgettable like a veteran's memory. Especially when I realized that our team's(garuda) mark could be recognized by everyone, I felt thrilled all over.

Well you should have gotten Xbox 360 😄 after they sorted out the RROD issues it was great console. Personally I collected exactly 200 games for it and Ace Combat 6 was one of the last I added to that collection and just recently played it. Still holds up well as fun game even if the story is very cheesy with dialogue thats even more cheesy. I also got PS3, but from early on it was clear that Microsoft really wanted lot of games/game series, many of them exclusive to Xbox 360 that it didnt have at all on original Xbox. Thats why it stayed as my main platform throughout 7th console gen even though the original 20GB Xbox 360 model broke down 3 times on me. 2 times it was covered by warranty, for the 3rd and final time it wasnt at which point they had released the more reliable 60GB model which I still have to this day even though I got Series X as well

This was a good game but the soundtrack was legendary.... The Liberation of Gracemeria is my alltime favorite track from all the games I've played.. My favorite AC game is AC5 though and the trailer with puddle of mud blurry to jets Barrel rolling in a canyon (Italian kisses fingers)

Well to be fair, Microsoft did back then what it had to do to make Xbox 360 as appealing to as wide audience as possible. Back then they used their deep pockets to acquire IPs and franchises, especially from Japan to be exclusive to Xbox 360 (like this, Dead Rising or Lost Planet) or to become multiplatform instead of being Playstation exclusives (like Devil May Cry 4 or FF XIII). Then at some point they forgot that they needed exclusives, until in 2018 they started to acquire all those developers/publishers with big money.

Watching the trailer without having a 360: "I MUST OWN THIS GAME, RIGHT NOW!" Finishing the game on the 360: .... Wow, this sucks. Not a bad game... but is the worst "Strangereal" Ace Combat for me. Nugget to AC here (only played for about 1.5 years, finished Ace Combat 5 and X on emulator and 7) , from what I have hears Ace Combat 6 is mediocre in terms of cutscene dialogue but impressive in terms of missions. I do seek to play the game myself to experience it, though!
