Probably my favourite thing in any soundtrack is when its absent. In the OST, this song doesn't have that break in the music when the shield drops, but it does in-game. Its almost like they are freeing up all our senses, all of our focus should be on the enemy, as the mighty Arsenal Bird becomes vulnerable.

Like any scam artist using "magic", they have insider knowledge that allows events to play out exactly as they want them to, in this case he knew Cossette was destroying the power supply and wanted to make it look like he wished it away.

Dude started off as a compulsive liar in prison for fraud, piggybacking off of the accomplishments of his teammates to inflate his kill count, puffing out his chest trying to take the role of leader and then bailing when the going got even a little tough. Fast forward past Wiseman's influence and death and flying with Trigger and the LRSSG for long enough and not only does he start being honest, he flies after Trigger into a tiny ass tunnel to try share some of the strain of carrying the Osean army on your back. idc if the AI in this game makes all of your wingmen basically useless, Count's still the best character

Just played this for the first time today. I couldn't take my eyes off the arsenal bird and even held my breath when the music stopped and my eyes glued to the bird. The moment the music kicked back in and the shield went down, I was so freaking pumped and just went GOOOOOO! Absolutely beautifully designed moment.

Probably really late, but you can hold the switch target button to lock your camera to your target. Makes it easier to watch something without having to fiddle with the stick.

This game’s scripting has no middle ground. It’s either complete shit, like Mihaly taking endless missiles and still flying because the dialogue hasn’t completed playing out, or it’s absolute god-tier, like this.

The song was the reason the game was delayed. They loved it so much and had 1 shot to nail this, so they restructured the whole mission to make it work with the song.

God, even tough my first playthrough was with simplified controls and on easy, this was still probably the most fun I've had in a singleplayer game in a long, long time. The music in Ace Combat is supreme and compliments the gameplay already, but with this particular, curated experience, it just felt awesome. The game was a bit of a struggle since I have a minor fear of height, but this moment made me completely forget all that. I think, for the first time in my life, flying didn't seem like all that bad of an idea. Actually, it sounded really nice.

Bruh it's meant to do that, they specifically tuned the radio chatter with the music. Also you must never have played any other Ace Combat if Count is your most hated character.
