This is probably the best DLC for Ace Combat 7. The F-15 S/MTD is a significantly rebuilt F-15B (serial number 71-0290) in order to rewrite many technical solutions. A similar vectorized thrust and canard system is similar in the Su-37. In turn, the F-16XL is a significantly rebuilt F-16 that competed with the F-15E in the Enhanced Tactical Fighter program, in order to select the successor to the F-111 Aardvark. The F-15E won over the F-16XL with two engines and fewer modifications, and therefore lower development costs. Both fighters are remembered in the history of Ace Combat as the main planes of the "bad" ones. In Ace Combat 5, the F-15 S/MTD was used by the "Grabacr" squadron. In the Ace Combat Zero, the modified F-15 was used by the "Sorcerer" squadron, and the F-16XL by the "Wizard" together with the YF-23. Both squadrons were stationed at Heierlark Air Base in North Osea (indicating that this base was closest to the front line during the Belkan War). The FB-22 Strike Raptor is the most interesting machine in this DLC. Unrealized design of a bomber based on the F-22A - something like the Su-34 - intended to replace the F-15E and F-117. The Strike Raptor has a very high combat potential and it is a pity that the project did not even reach the prototype stage. The new skins and emblems are very interesting and iconic for Ace Combat fans. As the hero machine skins from Joint Assault, Horizon Assault and Infinity are also coming out, it is very possible that the "Antares", "Bishop" and "Reaper" skins for the F-22A will be coming soon. And don't forget the "Scarface" skin for the F-22A from Assault Horizon Legacy.

I think the trinity missile won't be given because it would be too fast to clear missions, but in assault horizon, I already got the PAK-FA by beating Akula aka that damn shark and when you use the PAK-FA, you actually get trinity in it.

I suppose a world where the Tornado is in AC7 will have to forever a pipe dream..... like leaving home before 30. Yeah, I'm venting. Though in seriousness, I'd like to see the "Super Phantom" Variant of the F-4 like the prototype developed by the Iraqi Air Force (which was said to have performance that could match an F-15E) , and perhaps the MiG-35, as the game is severely lacking in MiG aircraft...also, the F-5 (with a Top Gun "Mig-28" skin) , Hawk (with a Red Arrows inspired skin), and the Su-22 for some more "classic" style aircraft, though these are never gonna happen, but it's fun to imagine.

Hey Bandai Namco! Got a lot to say. I am loving these nostalgic DLC's! Here are some ideas of future DLC planes, and missions that support them(air to air, and air to ground craft) to consider. Now, I am no know-it-all, so please be kind if I oops on time or type. I know it would bloat the tool box, but it would provide more serious depth and re-playable substance(more is more) to this awesome game as it gets older. Releasing in clumps, this content should include comparable SP weapons to the respective planes both vintage and newer, along with DLC-missions as well. The Tech tree should be set up and organized for the aircraft in 'family order' as it is on the original game(or Ace Combat 5-style.) The playable aircraft list (in ALL their respective variants, and in random order) are to include the aircraft(the ones that were missed in prior incarnations of the franchise over a couple more decades). From the 1950's (Relic Squadrons Series Set?) F-86(all variants), MiG-15, MiG-17, Saab Jansen, bring back the Saab-35 Draken, Dassault Super Etendard, Hawker Hunter, Grumman F-11, and any other useful ones I missed of that era. From the 1960's (Venerable Squadron Series Set?), F-108 concept(to compete with the MiG-25/31 speedsters), A-5 Vigilante(twin-tailed and single), bring back A-6, the Northrop F-5 family(A, B, E, later F-20, and X-29A), Saab-37 Viggen, MiG-23/27, MiG-25, Su-17(20, or 22) Fitter, F-100, MiG-19, F-8, F8U3(mach 3-capable so the Mig-25/31 is not the only fastest one), F-106, A-4(all versions including Israeli version), Hawker Buccaneer, English Electric Lightning, MiG-25, and others I missed. From the 1970's(F-111, Su-24, YF-4E(with canards), F-4X, AV-8(British and American versions) with VTOL capability in the game(good for later F-35's). Should bring back the Panavia Tornado(all their gr, and f3 variants), SEPECAT Jaguar, Dassault Mirage series(F-1, 3, Israeli-canard type, and their variants to compliment the one included), A-7, SU-25, bring back Mitsubishi F1, Since there are already a family of Sukhoi-27-based craft, lets bring back the Su-27, Su-35(ace 4 version), Su-47 variant, S-32, and to include MiG-31M and bring back MiG-1.44. Then can balance it out further with some additional F-15's(F-15 ex, F-15 silent eagle), F-16 block 60, F-16 VISTA, bring back F-18c, include F-18 HARV, YF-32(X-32), and Super Tomcat 21(with thrust vector equip). Perhaps these can be included in another 'Cutting Edge Series', or perhaps another type, it would very much compliment the game very well. For the 'Original' exotic craft(Series 2, 3, 4..etc), would like to see the Delphnius(R-101, R-102, and R-103), Fenrir(XFA-33), Adler(ADA-01-A, Falken variant), Erne (F/A32C), Aurora (UI-4054), Game(XFA-36A), Cariburn(X-45), Apalis (XFA-24A), Forneus (YR-99), Fregata(YR-302), Sepia(R-352), Remora(R-311), Orcinus(R-211). Spreading these out can surly give this game, and franchise a lot of good year to come.

all i could think while, and after seeing the new aircraft and each of their weapons was "they couldve easily done much better" Nothing is more dissatisfactory than having a cool ass "experimental" advanced jet while having the same old exact missiles half of all the other jets in the game come with. sometimes itll even have 2 out of the 3 missile options be like that. And now none of these 3 DLC "experimental" advanced jets have 0 "experimental" missiles to come with the "experimental" jets. Thats straight up half the fun. I often choose certain jets over others because of the missiles that are exclusive to that jet. Why would one choose any particular jet if each of its missiles are on better jets with better alternate missile options

Wouldn't make sense for it to be present in AC7's world considering the Fenrir came into play a year after the Lighthouse War, which happens in 2019 while ACX is in 2020. Don't get me wrong, the Fenrir is awesome, but I doubt it'll come. I'm just glad we're still getting new aircraft.

@@znspyder Thing about that is, it was a prototype in ACX lol, thing never really actually became a production aircraft since before it could truly prove itself, the war was lost. Never say never though, I'd still love to see the thing come back, ACX was my absolute favourite.

People still play this dead game? If you added actual decent multiplayer modes then people might actually have a use for these planes. The current multiplayer is just unfun, bring the raids from infinity in and let us fight super bosses in a coop/pvp setting.

13 euro only for 3 planes and some skins. No thank. But tell me; is this the way you have chosen to support this splandid game, with dlc (even useless)? This is a very bad choice. I'm so disappointed :(

0:55 Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that the F-16 XL's 4AAM's aren't attached to any visible hardpoint? The other weapons for the aircraft are, so why aren't the missiles?
