The higher your manuverability the easier it is to forget they exist and just attribute their constant long range missile bullshit to the furball you're tearing apart. Hell I went through my entire first playthrough and completely forgot about 'em because they're not TGTs and I never locked up an Su-47.

Charlie Coronado what do you mean “get to it”? This mission is payed Downloadable Content (DLC). If you want to play it you’re going to have to pay for it. You can purchase it from the Steam, PlayStation Store, or XBox Live (I think) pages of the game. If I’m not mistaken it as well as all of the other DLC for this game goes for 5 American Dollars, but I’m not American so I’m not sure.

It’s like he’s telling them, man you’re so bad at dogfighting you might as well leave and practice some more. That is a realistic outcome though. Cause if you’re like 10,000% and they are 2,000 each, then they are just child’s play and not worth your time unless you actually want to manhandle them. Which I did lmao. They were bragging so much I just went in and told em not to fuck with me, they then left cause both were near death and I wasn’t even hit. I entered in on 2% damage and came out the same. This was on Hard in the F-35C.

For those thinking that Rage and Scream have plot armor... Yyyyeaaaah, I managed to destroy Rage using the Falken's TLS, so no, you can definitely down them- well, one of them. The other one will immediately no longer register as a target and leave the combat airspace, and dialogue will say they both retreated because "we can't kill Three Strikes with damaged planes", but you can at least get points for one of them.

on my first playthrough, I accidentally got the bad ending: ...the battle is still on, only few targets left and the sky will be clear. I only know SCREAM for about 5 seconds because she spawned near ENCHANTER, they already pulling back. Only few missiles left, but no TGTs in sight. We can do this. The ALICORN is chilling down there. I wanna know about the submarine. I fired a missile on its general direction while holding the fire button. This will make the camera follows the missile so I can get the details without putting myself to danger. The submarine grows bigger in my view as my missile descend closer and closer. Someone called me an idiot and aborted the mission. My missile hit the sub.

So, we’ve confirmed that Rage and Scream are nothing but plot armoured minor annoyances, and that we can fly through the Alicorn. What’s the betting we finally kill them in Mission 3, and in order to destroy the Alicorn, we have to fly through it.

There's also another way to fail the mission. Is you shoot down the last SACS plane but it gets outside the area before it explodes, you still get a Mission Failed and the plane won't blow up. The game doesn't know what to do though so it just goes to the Continue/Restart screen with no voice clips.

Because you deliberately broke mission rules, in turn get punished and sit out a mission or two and then you lose all later fights because you just don't have enough resources or faith in you.

Should do like I did @Ace Combat Fan... I used the 8AAM and inside the enchancer and took one or both out at the same time at the start of their spawn. You get a destoryed but they just leave the AO in a hurry and curse you.
